Welcome to the Railway Operation Simulator Wiki

Railway Operation Simulator (RailOS) is an open source signal box simulation program created for Windows which allows users to both create and operate railway routes and services. You can download the program and community routes here.

Latest Version - v2.16.0

v2.16.0 adds:

  • Ability to use extended characters in location names, for example accents, umlauts, cedillas etc.
  • Now able to start a location name with a number (previously prevented).
  • Fixed a bug whereby saving a timetable with a blank entry caused a crash in some cases.
