This template can be used to call the colour of [[TransPennine Express]] routes.
In order to call a line's colour, the code <code> #{{TPX colour|<i>name</i>}}</code> is used (where ''name'' is replaced by the actual route name).
The "background" option is provided for use behind black text in infoboxes, etc, and is compliant with [[MOS:CONTRAST]] requirements for colour difference (574) and contrast ratio (12.39:1) at both small and large font sizes.
