Railway Operation Simulator allows users to create timetables for operating routes.

Timetables are stored in a .ttb file, and can be edited using tools in the program. Timetables are not designed to be edited or read directly using programs such as notepad.

Timetable Editor

The program contains a tool for editing timetables. Although it is not required, having the route saved as a .rly file before editing the timetable will help with creating the timetable.

The timetable editor.

The timetable editor can be accessed via the Mode menu, then select either Create a timetable or Edit a timetable, the latter of which will ask you to select a timetable file.

On the left hand side of the editor, you can select any service, which you can edit in the large white box on the right. The bottom panel contains buttons which can input commands automatically, and a guide to timetable creation. You can also validate the timetable with the "Validate Timetable" button, although this requires the route to be loaded and in a .rly file.
